Marmoleum, also known as linoleum safety flooring, is a type of flooring material that is commonly used in commercial and public areas such as hospitals, schools, pharmacies, restaurants, and daycare centres.

It is a durable and hard-wearing flooring solution that provides a safe and hygienic surface for areas that require extra slip-resistance and impact resistance.

Our team inspects the subfloor to ensure it is suitable for installation. If the surface is suitable, we begin the fitting process by cleaning and smoothing the area. If there are any issues with the subfloor, we will inform you and provide suggestions for alternative solutions. We conduct a final cleaning and ensure your satisfaction before leaving. Your comfort and enjoyment with the final product are our top priorities.

We kindly would like to inform you that the cost of vinyl installation is included only service of installation. Extra necessities like Safety Flooring Vinyl, glue, spray, underlay, door bars, uplift, disposal etc. are supplied with a cost. Their cost is changeable for the amount of the product which is used for the vinyl installation.

How to measure the place where you would like to have safety-flooring installed?

In order to measure your room or floor accurately for new flooring, you will need a few items. These include a tape measure, a pen or pencil, a piece of paper, a ruler, and if possible, a helpful assistant.

Whether you plan to install carpet, vinyl, luxury vinyl, laminate, or safety flooring, the process for measuring a room is the same. Begin by drawing a floor plan of the room you wish to measure, including any doorways, windows, or drop backs, such as fireplaces, alcoves, and fitted cupboards.

Using your tape measure, measure the width of the widest part of the room, then measure across the room at a few different points to account for any unevenness in the walls. Note down these measurements on your plan. Take measurements wall to wall across each room, as some walls may not be parallel. Additionally, measure any drop backs, alcoves, or fireplaces and record these measurements on your plan.

It is important to add an extra 10cm to each measurement to account for any necessary cuts or trimming during the installation process. Be sure to measure all the way into the doorways, as well as the width, and jot down this information on your plan. Note the number of doorways in the room, as this will help us accurately calculate the connecting door bars and thresholds that we'll need.

Remember, measuring accurately is crucial to ensure a perfect fit for your new flooring.

F.A.Q's

How long does the fitting process typically take?

The fitting time can vary depending on the size of the area to be fitted and the type of flooring product. However, we aim to complete the fitting within one day for most projects.

What should I do to prepare the area for fitting?
We recommend that you remove all furniture and objects from the area where the flooring is to be fitted. This will allow our fitters to work more efficiently and ensure that the finished result is of the highest standard.
